Andrew is unable to convince Laurie to consider moving to Dallas, but the charismatic and handsome doctor is able to persuade her to move. Laurie, Andy, and their huge mongrel cat, Big Ed, make the transition. Andy is happy and content in his new home, and Laurie dulls the pangs of loneliness by volunteering in the care center.
