| コメント | 裕福な地主ショッレ氏が所有する田舎の邸宅で起きる騒動を描いた楽しいオペレッタ。ヨハン・シュトラウス2世の6作目の喜歌劇＝オペレッタ≪鬼ごっこ≫は、1878年12月18日にアン・デア・ウィーン劇場で初演され、16回再演されたものの、好評を得ることができず、序曲のみは、時折り演奏されることがあるものの、全曲は上演されることがないまますっかり忘れられてしまった作品です。しかし、全曲に溢れる旋律美は名作≪こうもり≫にひけを取らず、物語に散りばめられたワルツやポルカ、マズルカ、マーチは聴き手をうっとりさせる力を持っています。なかでも第2幕のフィナーレは圧巻。序曲の旋律をそのまま用いたワルツに乗って合唱が「Blindekuh」と繰り返すところはまさに≪こうもり≫の舞踏会の場面を思わせる華やかさです。1975年生まれの中堅指揮者ダリオ・サルヴィが極上の音楽を紡ぎ出しています。 (C)RS |
